Omas Paragon Fountain Pen in Grigio Perla Ruthenium Trim

In 2023, Omas made a significant and heartfelt comeback by reintroducing the iconic Blue Saffron color to our distinguished lineup. This enchanting hue has captured the imaginations of pen enthusiasts worldwide and holds a special place in Omas history.

Grigio Perla celluloid first came onto the market after production was finished in the year 1932. Although it was featured heavily on pens of the time, when customers tended to prefer monochrome pens, Grigio Perla really started to shine with the release of the Cinema pen. The Cinema was released to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the “birth date” of modern cinema in 1995, paying homage to the fact that film itself is likewise created with cellulose nitrate. Nearly thirty years later, the material can shine again. 88 units of Paragon have been carved out of this understatedly beautiful celluloid and, for the first time, has been married to black ruthenium plated furniture and nibs.
