Gioia Bellavista Pompei Fountain Pen

The Gioia Bellavista model is a reinterpretation of the design of the Alleria , with some clear distinctions: a) a slide, b) a band showing an alternation of the “A” of their logo and c) an included key to disassemble the piston for easier cleaning. Easy. The result? A fountain pen with a modern silhouette and three rings, a couple of new features and an attractive resin exclusive to GIOIA, 100% made in Italy. All Bellavistas feature a JoWo #6 steel nib, made exclusively for Gioia. By giving the various models enchanting names, we bring a little bit of our beloved city and adjacent sea to your pen collection.

The yellow of this new resin is reminiscent of the famous “Pompeii Yellow” color, and the pearl gray and black are reminiscent of the 4-6 m (13-20 ft) of volcanic ash and stone under which this ancient city was buried for centuries, a due to the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.
