A knife. A need. A beginning.

WESN started with a single idea: make a pocket knife that was small enough to carry every day, but tough enough to rely on for a lifetime.

It began in a Detroit garage, where our founder couldn't find the tool he needed - so he built it himself. That first knife sparked a Kickstarter campaign, and what followed was more than we expected: a global community of people who shared our belief in quality, simplicity, and gear that doesn’t quit.

Since then, we’ve grown - from one knife to a full line of everyday essentials - but the mission hasn’t changed. We design tools and carry goods that blend modern minimalism with uncompromising function. No excess. No shortcuts. Just honest craftsmanship and gear built to be used, worn, and passed down.

WESN stands for West, East, South, North - a reminder that no matter where you're headed, your gear should go with you. Designed in Detroit. Made to move.
