From the vibrant hues of our Birds of a Feather collection to the deep, rich tones of our Underwater series, each ink tells a unique story of Tasmania's natural beauty. We handcraft our inks in small batches, using 95% Australian ingredients and a family recipe honed over the years. Our chemistry background from university has helped us create inks with unique characteristics - high or low saturation, wet or dry, shimmered or unshimmered, and even multi-tonal inks that change colour in the light.

Running Van Dieman's Ink as a married couple has its challenges, but we believe that our shared passion and commitment to quality have been key to our success. We are hands-on in every aspect of our business, from creating the inks to bottling, labelling, and shipping them out to our customers.
